BLACK LUNGS

As Wade puts it, Black Lungs is an "everchanging scab lineup of his friends". Sometimes a punk band, sometimes a guitar/piano duo, and sometimes just a solo acoustic act, Black Lungs is the side project of Wade Macneil of Alexisonfire. Myself and james spent the afternoon with Wade as he shared a few songs, and the spoke about Black Lungs.

BASIA BULAT

Here is a live film i recently did with james for Basia Bulat. I edited it in a similar style to Vincent Moon's take-away shows, which are undeniably a great influence on my work. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, so i hope you enjoy it too.

note: Watch thru till the 2nd song.. The reverb in the beach hut we filmed in is so cavernous and so beautiful. You will not be disappointed

A few weeks ago i shot this video for the Aux series. James wasn't able to make it out, hence the 1 camera, but he nonetheless did an amazing edit on it. Enjoy

NeGar

After much trouble with scheduling, a few week ago NeGar met me at Guildwood park to shoot a little video. I had never been there before, and was totally blown away. Its a giant park on the bluffs overlooking the lake, with tons of old sculptures and architecture. It served as the perfect backdrop to this lovely little video featuring NeGar, who's EP should be out soon. Look out for it!. Hope you enjoy.

This is now my favorite piece i've ever worked on. The location, the haze, the sound, James' edit... It all just fits together just right. And to think, we were nearly an hour and a half late for this shoot.

BILLY TALENT SECRET SHOW

A couple weeks ago i got a call from Aaron, inviting myself and James to film a secret show that Billy Talent were planning before their trip to Europe. Then, this past tuesday, Billy Talent announced a surprise show at the Horseshoe Tavern in toronto. Now this is a band that just filled almost 19,000 seats at the Air Canada Center, and they now were playing a show at the tiny Horseshoe Tavern. Do the math (Billy Talent + Horseshoe Tavern= Fucking Mayhem).
Here's a little teaser i just put together for the live video we are going to put out. Keep in mind this is just the first shot of the live show, its just a little taste- the rest is really insane.
