At the end of last year, i was asked to compile a music video/EPK for my friends in Arkells…. on a 2 day deadline. The band decided with the lack of tim to write and shoot a new video, to opt for a live compilation- something that would capture the spirit and energy of the Arkells’ live show. With the help of Eric Marshall Smith, I was able to gather a bunch of great live footage, and create this video for their single ‘John Lennon’. I had a great live recording of the song as well, with a nice extended outro that we were able to use. Hope you enjoy.
I went to an Attack in Black show once at the shoe… Arkells opened up and it was me and 2 other girls in teh audience… and I think they were the girlfriends. I'm glad they have more fans now. Nice work AV.
Was some of this from McMaster University last fall? I took some pics, and Max is in the same jacket and shirt.
