Last week i had the chance to meet up with Holly Miranda before her show in Toronto at the El Mocambo. The shoot was very last minute and caused some confusion, however in the end it turned out beautifully. Holly seemed to be such a kind and genuine person, and i think that really comes through in these videos.
When we met, we took a walk up to U of T campus, and found this amazing old ivy-covered building on spadina. Holly first played an acoustic rendition of her song “Waves”, and then treated me to a very special cover of “Hundreds of Sparrows” by Sparklehorse. Hope you enjoy!
